Adrian Ramos assists and scores to give BVB a two-goal lead

Adrian Ramos is filling in quite nicely for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, providing a goal and an assist to put Dortmund ahead by two goals.

Ramos found an oncoming Gonzalo Castro at the top of the box for a finish past Alex Manninger to give Dortmund its first lead of the day.

Only five minutes later, the Colombian was on the offensive once again. His first attempt was denied wonderfully by Manninger, but the rebound came right back to Ramos who finished his second attempt with ease.

BVB are still in complete control of the possession, with 75.8% on the day.

Felix Passlack was inserted into the lineup for Nuri Sahin just prior to the first goal, and is jumping into the play nicely despite his defensive posture.

Dortmund appear to be well on their way to a victory, leaving them still five points behind Bayern Munich for the Bundesliga top spot with seven games remaining.

The Armenian brings BVB level right on halftime

Just before the halftime whistle blew, Dortmund, down 1-0, continued to press Augsburg and were finally rewarded with a fortunate deflection.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan took a pass from Nuri Sahin inside the 18-yard box. Turning around, Mkhitaryan fired a shot that deflected off an Augsburg defender and into the back of the net for his tenth goal of the season.

The goal came with seconds remaining on the clock in the first half to knot the game at 1-1. Dortmund were denied moments before when Marco Reus had his shot stopped by Alex Manninger.

Dortmund dominated the first half, controlling 79.5% of the possession. Dortmund had five attempts on target to Augsburg's four. Augsburg, however, lead in shots on goal by a margin of 3-2.

BVB are playing without Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang today due to personal reasons, giving Adrian Ramos the chance to start at striker.

One of the top players for Dortmund so far has been Julian Weigl. The youngster has been very strong in possession with only a few giveaways, and is one of BVB's sturdiest players on defense.

In terms of distribution, Dortmund have made 484 passes at 90.3% accuracy. In the attacking half, Dortmund are passing at an astounding 97.4%.

Both teams have had one yellow card apiece. Mkhitaryan was booked for a foul in the 24th minute while Augsburg winger Caiuby was booked nine minutes later.

To start the second half, both teams have made substitutions. Marco Reus made way for Gonzalo Castro and Augsburg opted for Markus Feulner over Daniel Baier.

Despite having almost all of the possession over the opening 15 minutes, Dortmund have fallen behind early in against Augsburg.

Alfred Finnbogason slotted home the opening goal into a wide-open net to give Augsburg a surprise lead over Dortmund.

After conceding a goal kick, Dortmund were immediately forced to defend a rapid Augsburg attack. Phillip Max received the ball on the left flank, and played a nice through ball in for Caiuby.

The Brazilian was cool with his first touch and sent a nice pass across the mouth of goal to a wide-open Finnbogason.

The Dortmund centre backs were dissected by the quick-working Augsburg offense, as Mats Hummels and Sokratis were left out of position to defend the attack.

The goal was just the third conceded by Borussia Dortmund since the season restarted in January, and the first time they have trailed in league play since February 28 against Hoffenheim.

Dortmund continue to hold a majority of the possession, with 79.9% so far.
