Good Morning Fear The Wall

The Champions League is back, and the first round of games in the group stages did not disappoint. We saw six red cards, four of which came in the first four games, and 44 goals. Last night’s matches offered plenty of drama. Club Brugge faced the insane PSG offense of Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe, and managed to hold them to a 1-1 draw. Man City and Ajax both hammered their opponents, 6-3 and 5-1 respectively, and Liverpool came from behind for an exciting 3-2 victory over AC Milan.

Here is a roundup of the results from the first matchday in the Champions League group stages:

Sevilla 1-1 RB Salzburg

Young Boys 2-1 Manchester Utd

Lille 0-0 Wolfsburg

Villarreal 2-2 Atalanta

Chelsea 1-0 Zenit St Petersburg

Malmo 0-3 Juventus

Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich

Dynamo Kiev 0-0 Benfica

Besiktas 1-2 Borussia Dortmund

Sheriff Tiraspol 2-0 Shakhtar Donetsk

Inter Milan 0-1 Real Madrid

Atletico Madrid 0-0 Porto

Club Brugge 1-1 PSG

Liverpool 3-2 AC Milan

Man City 6-3 RB Leipzig

Sporting Lisbon 1-5 Ajax

But of course, the best performance of the Champions League group stages, so far?
