Good morning, everyone.
One. More. Day. There remains one more day until Borussia Dortmund football returns; one more agonizing day of World Cup Qualifiers between European city-states and filtering through meaningless transfer rumors on SportBible. Like this:
Borussia Dortmund have reportedly reached a 'verbal agreement' over the transfer of Erling Haaland ✍️https://t.co/B4d664PSaw
— SPORTbible (@sportbible) September 9, 2021
This article claims that BVB and Real Madrid have already reached an agreement regarding the sale of Erling Haaland, and I swear to god this is what it says: “Due to their [Real Madrid’s] show of respect to Dortmund.”
The article then ends with the question: “Do you think Erling Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund next summer? Let us know in the comments.” This is very a strange way to end an article that literally claims the move is a done deal in all but name. If a commenter said “no”, wouldn’t they be undermining the claims in the article? Very strange.
Oh, and here’s another one. After Jude Bellingham was linked to Liverpool a few days ago by Sky Sports, news must have gotten out that Jude rumors are good for clicks, because now the Sun is linking him to Chelsea.

Sky might have had the Scouse market cornered, but the Sun just stole the lion’s share by appealing to the larger London market. That’s how business works, kids. Welcome to the real world.
Man, I really need club soccer to start again.
Once the Bundesliga match day is over, it will only be a few days until the Champions League begins. But until then, you’ll have to suffer through one day sans Club football. There is unfortunately no Friday Bundesliga match, so you don’t even have a match between other clubs to get you through your afternoon.
There was one final major development on the final day of the International Break. Lionel Messi, who only a few years ago was on the verge of retiring from the international game, scored a hat trick to pass Pélé and become the all time goalscorer in CONMEBOL history.

Good for him.
