Good Morning Fear The Wall
It seems like BVB are on the verge of signing RB Leipzig defender Marcel Halstenberg. Sky Sports’ Max Bielefeld has reported that Halstenberg wants to join BVB and the deal will go through in the next few days.

Halstenberg will act as some much needed defensive cover at left back and center back. The price is reported to be around €10m, which seems a little steep, but I imagine that includes add-ons. Hopefully the initial fee will be a little lower, but it will be good to get some reinforcements in.
Aston Villa Linked to Thomas Delaney

There have been rumors linking Thomas Delaney away from the club all summer, initially starting with links to Southampton (which always seemed unrealistic) and Crystal Palace, but until recent weeks there hadn’t been anything more concrete than that. There’s been a lot of talk that Delaney might be heading to Sevilla, and now there appears to be competition from Aston Villa, who are apparently considering making a bid of around £13m.
Villa have been shopping around for a central midfielder all summer, and they’ve got plenty of cash, so this one makes some sense. It is looking increasingly likely that Delaney will be leaving Dortmund before the transfer window closes.
