Fans were welcomed back in France in the worst way possible

Good morning, everyone.

It’s not often that we get a front page story coming from a mid-table Ligue 1 match, but that’s the story today. It all started when, towards the end of the match, fans of OGC Nice struck Marseille forward Dmitri Payet with a bottle. Enraged, Payet hurled the water battle back into the crowd. From this point total chaos ensued.

According to the Bleacher Report, several of Marseille’s players had injury marks in their body following their confrontations with fans. The match was suspended with the score 1-0.

It’s nice to have fans back, isn’t it?

BVB and Sevilla Still Negotiating a Thomas Delaney Sale

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Thomas Delaney’s rumored sale to Sevilla is not yet set in stone. Sevilla and BVB are reportedly still in negotiations about Delaney’s price tag. Dortmund want about €10 million, an amount much higher than Sevilla’s recent offer of €4 million (according to Marca - Kicker disputes it.)
