Good morning, Fear the Wall. Happy Friday, and more importantly, happy match day.
FINALLY. The Bundesliga is back. With all due respect to the DFB Pokal, it’s just not the same. Nothing is better than the beginning of the Bundesliga, when there’s a clean slate and a full 34-match schedule in front of you. Today, we’ve only got one game on tap and our beloved Borussia Dortmund don’t play until tomorrow, but after three months I’m in no position to beg.
Today’s game is a big one, too, between Bayern Munich, who are in all likelihood going to be Dortmund’s biggest title rivals, and Borussia Mönchengladbach, another team expected to challenge for the top four. As always, the game can be streamed on ESPN+ for viewers in the U.S. It’s a big opportunity for Bayern to drop points, so let’s all remember to root for Gladbach.
So, This is a Thing
Listen up, America! The @Bundesliga_EN is back and it’s safe to say @ESPN can already hire me as a soccer announcer. GOAL! pic.twitter.com/FEklYOWRzX

You know, it’s not often that I’m completely at a loss for words, but... wow. I’m sure that’s gonna increase viewership of the Bundesliga in the U.S. tenfold.
