Good Morning Fear The Wall
Donyell Malen’s move to Borussia Dortmund seems to be edging closer. Ruhr Nachrichten reports that PSV Eindhoven have allowed Malen to leave to pursue a move, and everything seems to suggest that he is heading to Dortmund.

Hummels to Miss the Start of the Season

Meanwhile, Mats Hummels has taken it upon himself to force BVB’s hand and make them look for a new center back. Kicker is reporting that Hummels is suffering from patellar tendon issues, and will need extended rest in order to recover, forcing him to miss the beginning of the new season.
Dortmund were already looking a little light at the back, but if Hummels is injured, this will place extra strain on the rest of the squad. BVB relied heavily on Mats Hummels and Manuel Akanji last season, and with the injury-riddled Dan-Axel Zagadou and not-really-a-CB Emre Can as backups, any injuries to the main guys will surely cause concern. Unless they really believe in one of the kids, this only makes the defense a more pressing concern.
The Daily Buzz
With the news that Hummels might miss the start of the season with a knee injury, and reports that Schalke are offering Ozan Kabak around to anyone that will listen, would you pay the £8.5m for the young Schalke center back?
