While it still looks likely that Messi will be a Barcelona player next season, his status as a free agent will surely inspire a number of ambitious suitors. As it happens, Borussia Dortmund just came into some money and have space in the squad, after Jadon Sancho’s transfer to Manchester United for €95million was confirmed.
Maybe Messi fancies a new challenge? Maybe he sees Dortmund as the Barcelona of Germany? I’m sure he’d look good in yellow and black. I’ve heard rumors he was seen shopping in the supermarket just round the corner from the stadium? Maybe it’s nothing...
