Manchester United have finally made their first move in the negotiation for Jadon Sancho’s transfer, and they have made the impressively low bid of €70m. Unsurprisingly, Borussia Dortmund said no!

It would appear that they have learned absolutely nothing from last summer, but perhaps they will eventually table a bid that is actually close to BVB’s valuation.
Marco Rose’s Plans for BVB’s Future
Marco Rose was recently in Dortmund to talk to the club about next season, and there was plenty of interesting talking points to come out of that, as detailed in the BVB Newsblog Twitter thread below.

Everyone is in agreement that BVB will start next season with four at the back, and the formation is likely to either be a 4-3-3 or a 4-4-2 diamond. It had never occurred to me that a midfield diamond might be an option.
