Will BVB’s young stars make the final cut for Southgate’s England?

Good Morning Fear The Wall!

The England squad for Euro 2020 will be announced later today (5pm GMT), and the fate of BVB players Jadon Sancho and Jude Bellingham, will be decided.

You’ve got to think that Jadon Sancho is as good as on the plane, but Jude Bellingham may be at risk of getting cut. He’s young and inexperienced, and Southgate may want to avoid piling too much pressure on him just yet, but if any kid is able to cope with that pressure, it’s probably Jude Bellingham. I also think he’s good enough to contribute, and might even compete for a starting role, if given the chance. Do the right thing Gareth!

RB Leipzig in talks to sign Lacroix

Borussia Dortmund have been linked with Wolfsburg’s Maxence Lacroix, but all signs seem to point to the young Frenchman joining RB Leipzig. With both Konate and Upamecano on their way out, RB Leipzig will be prioritizing defenders in the transfer market, and with all that money in the bank, they’re ready to meet Wolfsburg’s €30m price tag.

I would have liked to see BVB make a real run at Lacroix, but things have gone a little quiet on that end, and there has been more rumors linking Dortmund to Jeremiah St. Juste, so this RB Leipzig news seems like it might be the final nail in that coffin.

Carlo Ancelotti to Real Madrid

Another manager appears to be on the move this summer, with Carlo Ancelotti soon to be confirmed as the new Real Madrid manager. The Everton boss has agreed to return to his old stomping ground, with whom he won the Champions League in the 2013/14 season.

Poor James Rodriguez is stuck in rainy Merseyside with the manager he joined Everton to play for heading back to his old club. Apparently Steven Gerrard and Rafa Benitez are two of the names Everton are considering to replace Ancelotti, as well as Antonio Conte.

The Daily Buzz

If you were Gareth Southgate, I imagine you’d select both Sancho and Bellingham. But would you also start both?
