On Their Loansome: Pherai vorm Tor

Leonardo Balerdi (CB)

Olympique Marseille (Ligue 1)

Leonardo Balerdi was subbed on in the 90+6’ for hattrick-scorer Arkadiusz Milik. Olympique Marseille won 2-0 over Angers SCO on May 16th.

Balerdi has two goals, one assist, six yellow cards, and one red card in 20 appearances (18 starts) in Ligue 1.

Sergio Gómez (AM)

SD Huesca (La Liga)

Real Betis Sevilla won 1-0 over SD Huesca on May 16th. Sergio Gómez came on in the 61st minute. He had one shot, shot-creating action, drawn foul, and committed foul.

Gómez has one assist and one yellow card in 28 La Liga appearances (three starts).

Immanuel Pherai (AM)

PEC Zwolle (Eredivisie)

The Eredivisie season is over! PEC Zwolle had two games this past week: a 4-2 loss to PSV Eindhoven on May 13th and a 1-0 win over FC Groningen on May 16th. Both games involved own goals, curiously. Zwolle finished 13th with 38 points in 34 games (9W-11D-14L) and a goal differential of -9 (44:53).

Immanuel Pherai was back in the starting 11 and played the full 90 for both games. Against Eindhoven, he had one shot, one shot-creating action, one committed foul, two drawn fouls, and……. A GOAL!!

Against Groningen, Pherai had three shots, two shot-creating actions, three committed fouls, and one drawn foul.

Pherai finishes with two goals, two assists, and one yellow card in 26 Eredivisie appearances (15 starts).

Marius Wolf (RW)

1. FC Köln (Bundesliga)

1. FC Köln drew 0-0 to Hertha BSC on May 15th. Marius Wolf was subbed on in the 60th minute. He had one shot, two shot-creating actions, and two drawn fouls.

Wolf remains at two goals, three assists, and three yellow cards in 30 Bundesliga appearances (28 starts).
