Welcome to Fear The Wall’s weekly recap of each Borussia Dortmund loanee’s performance at their respective clubs. BVB have four players out on loan, whose loans all end on June 30, 2021. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave them in the comments.
Leonardo Balerdi (CB)
Olympique Marseille (Ligue 1)
Olympique Marseille hosted 20th Dijon FCO on April 4th. Marseille won 2-0 thanks in part to a Leonardo Balerdi goal!! He scored his first goal of the season in stoppage time of the first half (45+1’). Balerdi played the full 90 and had two shots, committed one foul, and one drawn foul.
Balerdi now has one goal, one assist, four yellow cards, and one red card in 14 appearances (13 starts) in Ligue 1.
