The Bundesliga coaching roulette that has taken the Bundesliga by storm over the last week or two looks has finally hit the shores of Borussia Dortmund. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, VFL Wolfsburg are reportedly interested in the services of BVB manager Edin Terzic.

Wolfsburg’s current head coach, Oliver Glasner, has done very well with Wolfsburg, pushing them into competition for a spot in the Champions League. Because of his good work, he may be on the move for greener pastures, especially if Dortmund edge out Wolfsburg in the race for the top four. If the Wolves do lose Glasner, Terzic could be a tempting target to replace him. In his limited time as caretaker for BVB in the wake of Lucien Favre’s firing, he has done well to right the ship and bring Dortmund back into the race for the Champions League.
This report is just that, a report. BVB’s front office has made clear their intentions to bring Terzic back as an assistant coach for Marco Rose, and as a lifelong Borusse, he may be satisfied with that. But if he has ambitions for a job where he can have more control, a move to Wolfsburg might make sense for him.
