Good morning everyone!
Today’s headline news story is obviously the UEFA Champions League Draw. Borussia Dortmund have drawn a very tough opponent in Manchester City, and upon a theoretical victory, will have to face another tough opponent: either Paris Saint-Germain or Bayern Munich.
But how about the other clubs? On the other side of the aisle, Real Madrid will face Liverpool in a rematch of the 2018 Champions League final, and Chelsea have drawn Porto, who have already overcome one major challenge in Juventus. The two winners of these respective ties will then face off in the semifinal.
Germany Announces National Team
The FIFA World Cup Qualifiers are around the corner, and the German National Team has three upcoming matches against Romania, Iceland, and North Macedonia. Earlier today, Die Mannschaft announced their squad for these matches. Emre Can will be Borussia Dortmund’s lone representative.

Man City Get the “Easy Draw”
Our colleagues over at Bitter and Blue, SB Nation’s Manchester City fan site, have put up with a lot of conspiracy theories from fans of rival clubs like Manchester United and Liverpool about how Pep Guardiola’s side have been given an easy path through the Champions League.
With the Citizens having drawn BVB, the suspicions of other fans have been confirmed, and the folks at Bitter and Blue have finally come to terms with the fact that their side has only drawn sides that will be total pushovers (hint: read the article before you react with rage).
