Good morning everyone!

Borussia Dortmund Injury Updates

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Gio Reyna and Raphael Guerreiro are currently day-to-day, and will likely be a game-day decision tomorrow. However, in a press conference, Edin Terzic confirmed that Jadon Sancho, who suffered a muscle injury prior to last Saturday’s match against Bayern Munich, will be out at least through the upcoming international break. He also provided an update on Manuel Akanji. While the Swiss center back has returned to training, he will not be ready for tomorrow’s match against Hertha Berlin.

One thing I love about Edin Terzic is that he demonstrates his passion a lot more openly than Lucien Favre did. He’s also been a BVB fan much longer, so his passion for the club is genuine.

Europa League Updates

Sadly, both Bundesliga sides that were in the Europa League, TSG Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen, were eliminated in the prior round, so there aren’t any to follow as of now. There were still a few interesting matches, chief among them a showdown between Manchester United and AC Milan, two European giants that are considered favorites to win the entire competition.

I was able to watch this game, and found it pretty entertaining. Although AC Milan definitely had the bulk of the possession, they had trouble getting off decent shots, and when Manchester United managed to grab a goal against the run of play in the second half, I thought that it would be very difficult for Milan to grab an away goal. Then, in stoppage time, AC Milan center back Simon Kjaer smashed in a header off a corner kick to give Milan a crucial away goal heading into the reverse fixture.

And by the way, Harry MaGuire missed this:

Hehehehehe.
