Good morning everyone.

With Borussia Dortmund in free fall and a string of important matches on the horizon, BVB will desperately need all the reinforcements they can get. The forwards in particular seem like they need a reprieve, as Edin Terzic has been running the same combinations of Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho, Gio Reyna, and Erling Haaland into the ground. Luckily for these gentlemen, help may be just around the corner.

Thorgan Hazard has returned to training for Borussia Dortmund. Hazard’s season thus far has been halted by a trio of muscle injuries, which are notoriously difficult to recover from and easy to re-injure. While he may not return to play this weekend, it now seems much more likely that he could be ready to face Sevilla next Wednesday.

In his first full season with Borussia Dortmund, Hazard was a very reliable forward with seven goals and 13 assists in the Bundesliga. His technical quality and hammer of a shot make him a valuable offensive alternative to Erling Haaland, and would add another dimension to BVB’s attack.
