Good morning, everyone.

As the January transfer window draws near, and it becomes more and more clear which players around the world will be available over the summer, we’re beginning to get a better picture of which players Borussia Dortmund will be pursuing. It was reported last week that Karim Adeyemi is nearing a deal with BVB. Now, BILD is reporting that Dortmund are also pursuing a center back and a central midfielder.

The center back is Konstantinos Mavropanos, who is currently on loan from Arsenal to VFB Stuttgart.

Meanwhile, Dortmund are also very interested in signing Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria, although according to Fabrizio Romano, there are many other clubs interested in his services including Bayern Munich and Liverpool. One reason BVB might have an advantage over these clubs is that Marco Rose used to manage Denis Zakaria at Gladbach, and reportedly got along with him very well.
