Good Morning Fear The Wall
Jude Bellingham was in the running to win the 2021 Golden Boy, the award for the best player under the age of 21 in football, but he came in in second place just behind Barcelona’s Pedri. Pedri received 318 total points in the voting, while Bellingham finished on 119 points.

With awards like these there are usually a small handful of winners that could be justified, but in this instance I think it really came down to Bellingham or Pedri. There were other notable nominations, like Mason Greenwood, Eduardo Camavinga, Jamal Musiala, and Gio Reyna, but Bellingham and Pedri are pretty clear of everyone else.
Bellingham would have been a reasonable winner, but I think Pedri probably deserved the award. He’s had an incredible year, and I don’t think anyone can really feel like Bellingham was robbed.
