Guten Morgen, Fear the Wall.

A mini-crisis swept the German National Team yesterday, when news broke that an individual on the team had tested positive for COVID-19. This player was later revealed to be Bayern Munich center back Niklas Süle. As a result of the positive test, the team’s early training session was cancelled, and a group of players including Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, and Jamal Musiala were sent back to quarantine, presumably while they await further test results.

According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Borussia Dortmund representatives Marco Reus and Julian Brandt completed individual sessions following the team session’s cancellation. As far as I know, no other German players have tested positive.

Erling Haaland: Kingsman

Everyone seems to be raving about this Tweet, so I’ll hijack the algorithm a bit by posting it here:

See? He wore a suit. It’s a pretty nice suit, not gonna lie, although he could’ve done a better job with the necktie.

So yeah, that’s about it. This is the type of shit you have to write about during the international break.

In that picture above, am I crazy, or does Haaland look like Kyrsten Sinema?
