Good morning, Fear the Wall!
I hope you all enjoyed your Halloweens. I got exactly one trick-or-treater, so I now have an entire bucket of uneaten candy in my house.
A few days after breezing pas FC Ingolstadt in the DFB Pokal, Borussia Dortmund have drawn their next opponent in the cup: FC St. Pauli. I’m actually very excited for this matchup. The Kiezkicker are not only one of the most famous clubs in Germany, but they’re currently leading the 2. Bundesliga, meaning they’re probably at the level where they could compete in the Bundesliga.

Zorc: We Hope Haaland Can Play This Year
The word circulating around the block for the last few weeks has been that due to his torn hamstring, Erling Haaland will miss the rest of 2021. However, according to France 24, BVB sporting director Michael Zorc is still hopeful that Erling Haaland will be able to recover before the end of the calendar year. Either way, it will take a few more weeks, so BVB will still have to face Ajax, Bayern Munich, and others without him.
