Good Morning Fear The Wall

Borussia Dortmund have been heavily linked with a move for Karim Adeyemi recently, and reports have kept stating that the club don’t see him as a replacement for Erling Haaland. If rumors are to be believed, that guy might be Sebastien Haller!

According to Sport Bild’s Sven Westerschulze Borussia Dortmund view Sebastien Haller as the perfect replacement for Erling Haaland, should he leave in the summer. According to Ajax coach Erik ten Hag, Haller doesn’t have a release clause, and would be very expensive if BVB came calling.

It should come as no surprise that Haller would not be cheap. He’s been brilliant for Ajax since joining them from West Ham last season. Over the last two seasons he has contributed 21 goals and 7 assists in just under 2500 minutes (1.06 G+A/90). He was also a huge success in his time at Frankfurt. So much so that many of us were hoping that BVB might make a move for him, before he made his unsuccessful switch to West Ham.

This one doesn’t sound like it’s more than an option that BVB are keeping their eye on right now, but if Haaland was to leave this summer, I would be pretty pleased if they secured Haller’s services as a replacement.
