Good Morning Fear The Wall

We’re into the second half of the international break, everyone is injured, and it’s as boring as ever. But if you’re looking for something to lift your spirits, look no further than Donyell Malen!

Doesn’t he look like he’s having fun? He’s now scored three goals in five world cup qualifiers for the Dutch national team. Even more impressive is the fact that he’s only played 193 minutes in those games, meaning he is currently averaging 1.4 goals per 90. Lovely stuff.

Borussia Dortmund Leading the Race for Karim Adeyemi

BVB are leading the pack in the chase for the young German international, Karim Adeyemi, according to SPORT1’s Patrick Berger.

He also states that Dortmund don’t see him as a replacement for Haaland. Obviously they’re different kinds of players, but it’s not clear if the club thinks they can keep Haaland and still bring Adeyemi in.

Reports are making it seem increasingly likely that the race will be between BVB and RB Leipzig, with Bayern Munich looking like an unlikely destination. He’s a hugely talented kid, and he’s got off to a great start this season for RB Salzburg. I think it would be a steal.

German Clubs in Discussions to Host NFL Games

For a little change of pace, here’s some NFL news. Apparently there’s talks about hosting games at several German stadiums, including the Allianz Arena.
