Good morning, Fear the Wall.
Sebastian Kehl: Jadon Sancho will Play for BVB this Season
Over the last few weeks, I’ve seen a few rumors circulating around the online transfer zeitgeist claiming that Manchester United were making progress towards signing Jadon Sancho. According to a report by BBC Sport, Sancho and Manchester United had agreed to wages and an agent fee, and all that remained was for United to work out a transfer fee with BVB. On this ground, however, it appears that Man United haven’t made up much ground.
BVB director Sebastian Kehl confirmed in an interview that Sancho will indeed play for BVB this season. Borussia Dortmund have set a price tag of €120 million for Sancho and are sticking to it. United seem set against meeting this price tag, and with neither club willing to back down, the situation has essentially remained at an impasse for over a month.

Man Utd have not submitted a new bid to sign him [€120m price tag]. Still same situation by 45 days. Personal terms agreed but clubs talks not progressing. #MUFC
There is still a chance that Sancho will move to Manchester United this season, but time is winding down. Sancho has seemed happy during training and it doesn’t look like he will throw a fit and force a transfer. This news is a huge boost for BVB’s trophy hopes this season.
