Good morning, Fear the Wall.

Inter Milan Defeat Bayer Leverkusen

The final Bundesliga team has dropped out of the Europa League. Bayer Leverkusen fell 2-1 to Inter Milan in the competition’s Quarterfinal. Leverkusen gave up two goals in the first 20 minutes, and although they were able to claw one goal back courtesy of Kai Havertz, they were unable to dig out of the hole that they had created, and Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan have moved on to the semifinal. Manchester United also defeated FC Copenhagen 1-0 to advance to the next round.

There will be two more matches today. Shakhtar Donetsk will play FC Basel and Wolverhampton Wanderers will face Sevilla, both at 3 pm.

Training With a View

Borussia Dortmund have begun training in the picturesque Swiss town of Bad Ragaz. It’s an annual tradition for BVB to train in Bad Ragaz, and thankfully Switzerland has handled the coronavirus well enough that it’s safe for BVB to travel there.

Jadon Sancho, who Michael Zorc confirmed yesterday will stay with BVB next season, is training with the team and seems to be in high spirits.
