Good morning, Fear the Wall.
Apologies for missing yesterday’s Daily Bee. I usually try to squeeze these in before I begin working but I just didn’t have the time yesterday. I was too busy sleeping and then running to Dunkin’ Donuts to get coffee. Why I bothered doing this when I have a K-Cup machine, I can’t tell you.
BVB Set Sancho-Deadline for Manchester United
According to the BBC, Manchester United have until August 10 to complete the signing of Jadon Sancho. That may sound like a long time, but it’s worth noting that Dortmund and Man United are nowhere close to agreeing on a transfer fee. United have reportedly offered around £50 million, whereas Borussia Dortmund are hoping for a fee that’s almost twice as large, somewhere in the ballpark of €120 million.

Werder Bremen Stay Up
Oh yeah, this happened. Werder Bremen played FC Heidenheim in the Bundesliga relegation playoff, and after a tepid first leg at the Weserstadion, secured their spot in the Bundesliga next season with a 2-2 draw at Heidenheim to advance on away goals.
Milot Rashica, who Bremen will desperately need to stay around, celebrated with the boys.
