Borussia Dortmund Reject Manchester United’s Bid for Jadon Sancho
With their win over Leicester City on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday, Manchester United have secured a spot in the Champions League next season. As many outlets have previously reported, this was the criterion that Manchester United wanted to meet in order to go all-in on signing Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund. United will have to fork over a substantial sum of money. BVB have reportedly requested €120 million, and recently rejected an offer of €98 million.

While Manchester United seem very eager to sign Sancho, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that Sancho might stay at BVB another year. The young Englishman is reportedly in no hurry to leave Dortmund, and may be more than willing to stay around for another season. If he does go, then BVB will squeeze every penny out of Manchester United to help reinvest in the squad.
Premier League Ends
Sunday looked to be a very exciting match day in the Premier League, with multiple teams competing for spots in the Champions League and another race to avoid relegation. The matches at the top of the table were fairly uneventful, with Chelsea handily beating Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United beating sweeping aside Leicester City, but there was a bit more drama at the bottom. Bournemouth beat Everton 3-1, and Watford kept things interesting against Arsenal by clawing back from a 3-0 deficit to trail 3-2, but it was ultimately Aston Villa who won a spot in the Premier League next season by securing a draw against West Ham United.
