Last game of the season! Dortmund will finish the 19-20 Bundesliga season up at home tomorrow against Hoffenheim. BVB have nothing to play for but Hoffeheim have to out preform Wolfsburg to get into Europa league. Reus, Delaney, Akanji and Emre Can are all out unavailable.

Normally I name the same old predicted lineup in these pre-game posts since that’s what Favre does, but this game I feel will be different. With the season over, we may not see a best XI out on the pitch to start, as there are many younger players who should get a run out. It’d be great to get players like Morey, Balerdi and Raschl out on the field for a second half sub if not a start. I’d also like Favre to give players who may be playing their last game at BVB a chance. Gotze will probably be unavailable but Schmelzer and Hakimi both could be playing their last games in black and yellow. Marcel cause he’s old and is likely to retire and Hakimi because his loan is ending(and he’s maybe going to Inter).

TSG will be playing their best XI. They have it all on the line as they fight to make this season count for them. TSG have scored 7 goals in heir past two games. Players like Andrej Kramaric and Moanes Dabour are prolific goal scoring and chance creating threats. If Favre does roll out young players in the backline this will be a great test for them. Last time we played TSG beat us 2-1. It was a classic BVB game against a lower opponent this season. BVB went up early thanks to Gotze then let Hoffenehim dominate us for the second half. This time around Hoffenheim will try to be aggressive out the gate. We have been a better team in the Ruckrunde, and at our peak we should play TSG off the field.

How do you think BVB should lineup against TSG?
