Michael Zorc Extends Contract
Borussia Dortmund Sporting Director Michael Zorc has officially extended his contract until 2022. Zorc plays such an important role in Borussia Dortmund’s scouting, contracts, and talent development. He’s been the mastermind behind BVB’s transfer strategy over the last few years, and is responsible for a lot of diamond-in-the-rough signings like Jadon Sancho and Achraf Hakimi.

Don’t Quit on Hakimi
According to Speaking of Zorc and Hakimi: Borussia Dortmund are hard at work trying to get Achraf Hakimi to extend his loan from Real Madrid for one more year. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, there’s still an outside chance that BVB could extend Hakimi a bit longer. Michael Zorc has repeatedly claimed over the last few days that even though the odds are looking slim, that BVB still have hope.
