Good morning, Fear the Wall.

Thomas Meunier Close to Joining BVB

Paris Saint-Germain right back Thomas Meunier looks like he will be coming to Borussia Dortmund on a free transfer at the end of the season. According to reports, Meunier did not attend a recent PSG training session, which means he may be ready to join BVB immediately. There was a chance that BVB would loan Meunier back to PSG for the Champions League, even though Ligue 1 is over, but it appears that they’re not interested.

Meunier is a 28 year old right back who has 40 caps with the Belgian national team. He’s not as offensive-minded as someone like Achraf Hakimi, but could provide a bit more on the defensive end of things. He also takes the pressure off of Mateu Morey, who would have been the only other option at right back if Hakimi were indeed to go back to Madrid.

Dortmund Body RB Leipzig on and off the Pitch

The RB Leipzig Twitter account has had a rough few weeks. After debasing themselves by sucking up to Chelsea fans following the announcement of Timo Werner’s transfer, they were completely bodied by the official Dortmund Twitter account following Leipzig’s 2-0 defeat against BVB.

Remember when Haland scored a hat trick on his Bundesliga debut, and Timo Werner only scored a brace, and the Leipzig account somehow tried to turn that into a win for Werner? Well, after Haland scored two goals to Werner’s zero on Saturday, BVB had this to say:

Enjoy Stamford Bridge, Timo.
