- Another year of Pisz
Some good mid-week news for everyone. BVB have announced the extension of Łukasz Piszczek’s contract until 2021. Piz’ contract was set to end at the end of the season. Seeing as how he has been clutch for us to have in the three back lineup it’s good to see him staying on. Piz is our captain when Reus is out and has been a crucial leader for the team. Despite being 34 still can keep up with the fast pace of the Bundesliga.

- Bild reporting Marco done for the season
And no some bad news. BILD is reporting that Reus may be out for the rest of the season. Reus did not play vs Schalke over the weekend and is not expected to be back in time for our games this weekend and next week. With the season being on a quick timeline it seems that he may not be back at all. Missing our captain to injury for the rest of the season will be a blow for this team. Luckily we have a bevy of attacking talent with Sancho, Haaland, Brandt and Hazard. Reus isn’t getting any younger and now that he is 30, he could realistically be only an injury away from being out of the sport. We hope that’s not the case! Feel better Marco!
