Looks like we could get sports back sooner then we imagines. According to reporting by RN and statements from politicians in Germany the Bundesliga could see a return by as soon as May 9th.

In meetings today April 20th with state and federal politicians, talks have begun on how to get the Bundesliga back on track. First and foremost the games would have to be ghost games. No fans would be allowed in the stadiums and minimal staff would be present. Also there will need to be enough tests for all players. The DFL understands that players can’t be tested until there is enough of a surplus of tests that no others need them. That point alone makes me think it may be later then May 9th if testing isn’t as available. However in Germany testing has been used widely and Germany has one of the lowest COVID-19 fatality rates in the world due to actionable testing.

May 9th is less then three weeks away! Hopefully we can have some BVB football back, but only if it can be done safely and responsibly.
