- Zagadou suffers injury
Borussia Dortmund defencer Dan-Axel Zagadou has suffered a ligament injury in his left knee during training and will miss several weeks. However the club has not offered a precise timetable for his return which might not even matter because of the current situation in the Bundesliga.

Sebastian Kehl has now been Borussia Dortmund’s “Head of the license player department” for almost two years and still has a contract until 2021 which leads kicker to speculate about his future. It’s not only Kehl’s contract that ends in 2021 but also Michael Zorc’s contract and there are rumors that the sporting director might leave then. If so Kehl would be the obvious replacement but if Zorc does end up staying it will be interesting to see if Kehl might want to leave to take on more responsibility at another club.
- Dahoud’s agent denies transfer rumors
Sports outlet Sky speculated about a possible departure of mahmoud Dahoud from BVB. The midfielder hasn’t exactly played a lot for the black and yellows this season, only 11 appearances most of them as a sub. So the idea that he would want to leave is not really otlandish.
However, Dahoud’s agent Reza Fazeli has responded to the transfer rumors and has emphatically denied them:
“It has no basis. Mo doesn’t want to leave. He wants to stay with Dortmund and fight for his spot. There are currently no plans to leave BVB.”
To be honest this is a bit confusing considering his current situation. He’s not a starter and you could say that he’s not even really a rotation player for BVB considering he has only played 322 minutes for Dortmund this season. In addition the club still has Emre Can, Axel Witsel and Thomas Delaney on the roster and rumors regarding Jude Bellingham joining BVB are quite substantial so it will be even more difficult for him next season. A move would actually be his best option for playing time but he clearly sees it differently.
