Its now official. The 2019-2020 Bundesliga season has been postponed due to concerns about COVID-19. There is no timeline for when /if it returns. With a match scheduled today DFB really made this call at the last minute but it is the right one. As of now our derby vs Schalke has been suspended.

The Bundesliga is the last major league in Europe to make this call. After the EPL did so yesterday with the news of Arsenal manager Arteta having a positive case it was only a matter of time. Earlier today reports of Hannover players possible infecting Nuremberg players probably pushed the DFB to make this call. The DFB had to know that fans would chose to congregate outside the games despite not being allowed within the stadium.
As for what this means for FTW, We’ll have an update for you on that soon. Meanwhile please stay cautious and engage in social distancing as much as you can.
