Good morning, Fear The Wall!
Players Not in The Pokal Roster
According to Ruhr Nachrichten, four Borussia Dortmund players will not be in the squad for today’s DFB Pokal match against Eintracht Braunschweig. Mahmoud Dahoud, Felix Passlack, and Reinier were announced to not be with the squad for the match for a variety of reasons.

Fresh off scoring his first Bundesliga goal, Yousouffa Moukoko was also announced to not be in the roster at all for today’s match as RN reports he suffered a minor injury in Friday’s defeat to Union Berlin. U23 captain Steffan Tigges will be included in today’s squad and could even see the pitch, and he’s done well with BVB II (12 goals and 7 assists in 18 games).
Luckily, BVB will have Thorgan Hazard back in some capacity. Hazard returned to full training today, but I doubt Terzic starts him immediately following a lengthy recovery time.
Braunschweig, who currently sit 16th in the 2. Bundesliga, shouldn’t be much of a problem for Dortmund today, but with the club’s current run of form, anything is possible.
Happy Birthday, Rapha!
Today marks the 26th year of existence on planet Earth for our favorite little Portuguese wingback, Raphaël Guerreiro!
Happy Birthday to the man with the magical left-foot, @RaphGuerreiro!

Let’s make today a good one, Rapha! pic.twitter.com/w3IPqfbS7e
I think it’s safe to say that Guerreiro has been one of the consistently best Dortmund players in recent years, even as a wingback. He’s been very good on both ends of the pitch, and his attitude has been a positive for his entire stay at Dortmund. He’s always one of the first ones to leave in any Football Manager save I make, which makes me love him even more that he stays with us despite being good enough to play for bigger clubs. I hope he finishes out his career in the black and yellow, becoming a club legend.
