Fear the Pod: Edin’s at the Wheel

As the final days of 2020 pass by, it feels like the wheels of Borussia Dortmund have started to fall off. An injury to Erling Haaland has proven more than this team could handle. In the wake of the star striker’s injury, Borussia Dortmund have dropped points again and again in the Bundesliga, and last weekend’s humiliating 5-1 defeat at the hands of VFB Stuttgart proved to be the final straw. With few cards left to play, Michael Zorc and Hans-Joachim Watzke pulled the plug on Lucien Favre’s tenure at Borussia Dortmund.

Edin Terzic, former assistant coach to Lucien Favre and Slaven Bilic protege, has been appointed caretaker manager in his place.
