The Daily Bee (November 27, 2020): A Zagadou Return is on the Horizon

The Frenchman’s long-awaited return is approaching

Good morning, Fear the Wall.

First and foremost, I hope everyone had a happy and safe Thanksgiving. While I didn’t travel to see my family because of COVID-19, I did prepare a dinner with my roommate and one of my friends. We completely undercooked the turkey so we basically just filled up on sides instead, and now we have about six pounds of leftover meat and an entire Costco pie in the fridge.

Anyway, today’s top story:

Dan-Axel Zagadou Close to Returning for BVB

After a long three months on the sidelines, Borussia Dortmund’s towering center back is close to returning to play. Having suffered a knee injury in training over the summer in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland, Zagadou has missed the entire start to Borussia Dortmund’s season. BVB have struggled at times with the resulting lack of depth at center back, so Big Zag’s return is a welcome sign. In today’s press conference, Lucien Favre said he probably won’t play against Köln tomorrow, but that he could be ready for one of the matches next week.

Erling Haaland Makes Team of the Week

Erling Haaland had six goals over two matches this week, so it’s no surprise he was picked for EA Sports’ Fifa Ultimate Team of the Week:

87 overall with 87 pace is very good, so I may have to make a splash on that myself. Good thing I’ve been saving up my FUT coins!
