With their second consecutive victory against the Belgian side Club Brugge, Borussia Dortmund look well on their way to the Champions League Round of 16. BVB now sit on top of Group F with two matches remaining, and only need one more point to clinch a trip to the knockout round.
While Borussia Dortmund have had trouble scoring early in the Bundesliga, it wasn’t an issue today. Erling Haaland got BVB started with a goal in the 18th minute assisted by Jadon Sancho. It was a great day for the young Englishman. While he’s gotten off to an uncharacteristically poor start in the league, he was brilliant today, his highlight of the match being a beautiful free kick that he curled neatly into the top corner past Simon Mignolet:
Jadon Sancho, are you kidding me?! Now that's how you take a free-kick pic.twitter.com/66hu37SZtR

Erling Haaland put the game to sleep later in the match. After a Brugge defender accidentally laid a ball to Haaland in an offsides position, Haaland spun and perfectly laced a shot past Mignolet. From that point on, it was simple game management for Borussia Dortmund.
I have a feeling that Man of the Match will be a contest between Jadon Sancho and Erling Haaland, but there were a few other BVB players that I thought also stood out. Jude Bellingham and Thomas Delaney were both very effective winning balls up the pitch and along the sideline. I also thought Meunier had a very good performance as a right back, which shows yet again that it may be his best position.
So, who’s it going to be: Haaland with the brace, Sancho with the golazo, or either of the two standout midfielders?
