Good morning, Fear The Wall!
UCL Matchday 2
Today is the first part of UEFA Champions League Matchday 2. While many of the good matches don’t start until tomorrow, including our own Borussia Dortmund against Zenit St. Petersburg, there are still a number of good match-ups.

The matches in Group D jup out as the ones to watch. Atalanta-Ajax should be a very fun match to watch, as Atalanta has the highest scoring team in Serie A this season and were the surprise team in Champions League last season. On the other end, Ajax have always been a fun team to watch in European competition, and they are fresh off of a 13-0 drubbing of VVV Venlo over this past weekend so you know they’ll be feeling confident coming into today’s fixture.
If you’re looking for a BVB-angle in any of these matches, watch Marseille-Man City in Group C. Leonardo Balerdi has made the bench for every match this season for Marseille and has started three times so far. In their latest match against Lorient, Balerdi went the whole match and scored the game-winning goal.

Other matches that look like good ones are Atletico Madrid-RB Salzburg in Group A and maybe both Group B matches should be exciting, especially after Shaktar surprisingly defeated Real Madrid on MD1. Bayern should absolutley walk over Lokomotiv Moscow, even without Alphonso Davies on the pitch. Liverpool-Midtjylland should also be a bit of a stinker, and Porto-Olympiakos doesn’t exactly get the juices flowing.
