Without ever signaling that they ever intended to sell Jadon Sancho during the winter break, he has been part of some rumors in the past few weeks. However, those clubs that are supposedly interested can hold their offers until summer. Borussia Dortmund isn’t interested in selling their star winger this January and will hold onto him until at least this summer.
A sale in January never really made sense for BVB, it is harder (and more costly) to find a suitable replacement and Dortmund still have hopes to enter the title race despite the disappointing Hinrunde and they will need Sancho to do so.
According to Sky Sports Borussia Dortmund have joined a long list of suitors for Norwich fullback Max Aarons. The 20-year-old right back is currently playing for Norwich in the Premier League and could be available for 30£ million (~35€ million) this summer. Aarons is a starter for Daniel Farke in the Premier League and has been one of Norwich’s best players this season.
Dortmund need to plan ahead for the right back position this summer, Achraf Hakimi is on loan and could return to Real Madrid this summer, Lukasz Piszczek hasn’t decided yet if he will retire and Mateu Morey is unproven at the highest level. Aarons could become an intriguing option if BVB need to go for a right back in a few months.
