  • Can to BVB

Emre Can will very soon be a player of Borussia Dortmund. The midfielder/centre-back is currently in Dortmund for his medical, if he passes it - and there’s no reason to doubt he will - Can will be announced as BVB’s second signing this year after Erling Haaland.

However there are still conflicting reports about the financial details of the transfer. It looks like the initial deal will be a loan until the end of the season with an obligation to buy the player this summer. There are conflicting reports about the transfer fee, the speculated sum ranges from 23-30€ million. Bild speculate that he will cost 25€ million and earn 8.5€ million per year and will sign a 4-year contract after the loan ends.

  • JBL of to Hoffenheim

It looks like Emre Can won’t be the only deadline day transfer for Borussia Dortmund. According to Sport1 journalist Florian Plettenberg Jacob Bruun Larsen will join TSG Hoffenheim. It is unclear if it will be a permanent move or just a loan at this point.
