Good morning, Fear the Wall.
It’s Oktoberfest! I know that it’s a Bavarian holiday, and that Dortmund isn’t in Bavaria, but to be honest, any excuse that I need to eat Bratwurst, wear lederhosen, and listen to the same generic polka song on loop is good enough for me.
Here are today’s top stories:
Union Berlin vs Eintracht Frankfurt
If you’re hungry for Bundesliga soccer, then you can get your fix this afternoon, when Eintracht Frankfurt will visit Union Berlin. Neither side has gotten off to a particularly good start, even though both sides have been able to strip points from Borussia Dortmund.
In similar news, Union Berlin manager Urs Fischer has been extended through next season.

Matchday Preview
There are some interesting-looking matchups coming this weekend. Outside of Borussia Dortmund hosting SV Werder Bremen, the most interesting match for BVB fans to follow will be RB Leipzig facing off against Schalke. BVB fans won’t hold a lot of love for either side, but with Leipzig topping the table right now, it might be better if Schalke were able to come away with a result. Now that I say that, they’ll probably get smacked 4-0.
Matchday 6 in the @Bundesliga_EN!
