- Yesterdays results
We all know how BVB’s game went yesterday but there were quite a few interesting results from the first day of UCL action. Napoli’s upset on the reigning champs Liverpool was a impressive show. Teenager Erling Haland scored a hat trick on his debut. I personally had never heard of him before but pundits says hes primed for a breakout season with Redbull. Hopefully there’s no transfer shenanigans with him to Leipzig, I’d hate to deal with a kid that prolific in the Bundesliga. In our group Slavia Prague beat Inter. That’s mostly good news for BVB but that means we may really have to worry about the pot 4 team this year.

- Wednesday Games
Today’s games are
12:55 PM EST
Brugge vs Galatasaray
Olympiacos vs Tottenham Hotspur
3 PM EST
Neverkusen vs Lokomotiv Moscow.
Real Madrid vs PSG
Bayern vs Red Star Belgrade
Atletico Madrid vs Juventes
Shaktar vs Mancester City
Dinamo Zagreb vs Atalanta
There are some great games among these fixtures. PSG-Madrid and Atletico-Juve stand out. Those are some top tier matchups for day 1 of Champions League. Either could be a UCL final worthy matchup. The other German teams in the UCL Bayern and Leverkusen have relative walk in the park matchups. After us destroying Bayer over the weekend it will say a lot how they do in this match.
