- Kagawa on his way to Zaragoza (El Periodico / Heraldo)
Two daily newspapers from Spain, El Periodico Aragon and Heraldo de Aragon, report about a possible transfer of Shinji Kagawa to Real Zaragoza.
The Japenese international has no future in Dortmund and has recently even refused BVB’s offer to join the first team during training camp according to kicker.
Kagawa had declared Spain his favorite destination for his next club and even though Zaragoza plays in Spain’s second division (LaLiga2) this would essentially grant him his wish.
- Gündogan extends with ManCity
The long rumored return of Ilkay Gündogan to BVB will definitely not happen. The central midfielder has extended his contract with Manchester City until 2023.

Daily Buzz: Matchday! Borussia Dortmund will take on KFC Uerdingen in the first round of the DFB Cup today and will obviously be the heavy favorites.
Uerdingen might just be a third division side but they have a lot of former Bundesliga players like Dominic Maroh, Assani Lukimya, Jan Kirchhoff, Adam Matuschyk and Stefan Aigner. There’s a lot of experience on that squad and it won’t be an easy task for Dortmund.
Another interesting tidbit is that the black and yellows will play against Kevin Großkreutz, the former BVB player and 2x Bundesliga champion is currently playing for Uerdingen.
