- Matchday 2 roundup
After BVBs comeback win on Friday I wouldn’t have blamed you if you felt all football’d out before the weekend even started. If you did watch the Bundesliga you were treated to some great goals, although there weren’t to many close games. Out of the 9 games 7 of them had a team that scored 3 goals. Most of those games ended one-sided, except TSG-Werder which was 2-2 until a Eggestein red card let TSG load pressure on and score a winner. That was probably the match of the week. Both Schalke and Hertha barley came out to play both losing 3-0 to Bayern and Wolfsburg respectively. The best news of the weekend is that BVB now have sole possession of 1st place, leading Leipzig and Freiburg by 1 GD. Our game didn’t start great but as as Aanvil pointed out in the recap comments, we were in worse shape MD2 last year then this year.
Another pulsating weekend of Bundesliga action comes to a close

- Bas Dost back in the Bundesliga
Dutch striker Bas Dost is rejoining the Bundesliga as Eintracht Frankfurt has signed him from Sporting. Dost was a great player for Wolfsburg in his last stint in the Bundesliga, and on Sporting he dominated the Premeira Liga. Let’s see if he can give Frankfurt the boost they need to play 3 competition football.
CONFIRMED: Eintracht have completed the signing of striker Bas Dost from @SportingCP_en on a three-year contract. Welcome aboard, Bas! #SGE pic.twitter.com/6uxr7TIEH9
