Borussia Dortmund might not be the only Bundesliga club interested in Patrik Schick. Bild claims Schalke 04 and Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in the 23-year-old striker although claim Dortmund are the favorites for now
- Diallo asks for transfer (Sky)
According to Sky Abdou Diallo’s agent has put in a transfer request. The arrival of Mats Hummels and his somewhat disappointing second half of the season, where he had to play at left back most of the time, likely mean Diallo has no secure starting spot.
Several Spanish and English clubs are supposedly already interested as well as PSG who have to look for another center-back after de Ligt chose to join Juventus.
BVB have too many central defenders on the roster right now so this rumor does not seem too far fetched. Diallo just joined Dortmund last summer, however if a club were to offer in excess of the 28€ million BVB paid a year ago this could happen.
- Hakimi tops group with Morocco
Achraf Hakimi has won his third game with Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations. Another narrow 1:0 secured them first place in their group and and a place in the round of 16.

- Bundesliga transfers and rumors
Hertha BSC Berlin: Hertha should have new money to invest but their first move since a new investor has brought new money into the club was a sale. Valentino Lazaro has left Berlin for Inter Milan for 22€ million. Hertha will now have to replace their right wingback who was one of their best players last season.
Bayern Munich: Bayern might have lost the battle for Rodrigo and Leroy Sané but it seems they already have a new target, former BVB-player Ousmane Dembélé. The young winger is likely Bayern’s new transfer priority which could also be profitable for BVB, if Barcelona sells him Dortmund would receive the remaining bonus payments of 17€ million.
Dembélé is one of the most talented players in the world but his frequent injuries and off-field issues would make him a risky signing especially for a rumored price of over 100€ million for Bayern.
Eintracht Frankfurt: We might see a familiar face back in the Bundesliga. Bild reports Erik Durm is close to signing a deal with Eintracht Frankfurt, he is sadi to complete his medical today. The former BVB fullback is available for free after his contract ran out with Huddersfield Town. Durm could provide some depth at both wingback positions for Frankfurt.
