- BVB players back in training
Almost all the players that were on international duty after the season are now back in training and have started today with some fitness tests. That means Lucien Favre will have an almost full squad from tomorrow on with just three exceptions, Achraf Hakimi (Africa Cup of Nations), Mo Dahoud (U21 Euros) and Sergio Gomez (U20 World Cup).

- Mandzukic-rumor keeps coming back (Gazzetta dello Sport)
Mario Mandzukic keeps on being linked to Borussia Dortmund, now Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that BVB are still trying to sign the striker who would cost 15€ million.

Mandzukic fits the profile that Dortmund are looking for and he’s still a top striker but at 33 years of age he would be an investment with no return and will probably decline over the next few years. As much as BVB are looking for an improvement at centre forward this summer this would still be a risky move.
Meanwhile Sport Bild report that Bayern Munich are also thinking about bringing Mandzukic back as Robert Lewandoski’s back-up.
Daily Buzz: Most BVB-fans would probably like the club to sign another striker but who? Would someone like Mandzukic really help BVB in the race for the title or would you rather like a younger player that the club can develop behind Alcacer and Götze?
