German investor Lars Windhorst will give Hertha a huge financial boost through his holding company Tennor. Hertha BSC Berlin will receive 125€ million for 37.5% of the Hertha BSC GmbH & Co. KGaA. In addition the company secured the right to buy an additional 12.4% for 100€ million next season which would bring them to 49.9%. The controversial 50+1 rule in the Bundesliga prevents Windhorst from taking over the club entirely.
Hertha will mostly use the money to invest into the squad in the near future and hopefully be able to compete for a top 6 spot in the Bundesliga.
- FIFA Women’s World Cup
England is the first team to reach the semifinals of the Women’s World Cup after a convincing 3:0 win against Norway. An early goal from England set the tone for the entire game, Norway never really found into the match. England even had the chance to drive up the scoreline but missed several chances including a late penalty.

Today two of the biggest favorites will face off when hosts France take on USA.
- U21 Euros
Congratulations to Mo Dahoud and the German U21 national team for reaching the finals at the U21 Euros. Germany won 4:2 against a very talented Romania team thanks in large part to a very good performance in the second half.
Dahoud played well but still had a few head scratching mistakes during the game. It’s still mostly his decision making that holds the midfielder back. On Romania’s side George Puscas and Ianis Hagi impressed, those are two young player BVB should definitely keep an eye on.
Germany will now play Spain in the final who won 4:1 against France. The final will be played on Sunday.
Congratulations to Mo Dahoud and the rest of the @DFB_Junioren for reaching the finals of the @UEFAUnder21 with their 4-2 victory over Romania! pic.twitter.com/mdyj0MdCYy

- AC Milan banned from EL
It’s official, AC Milan will be banned from the Europa League next season because of several transgressions from 2015 to 2018 against Financial Fair Play. AS Roma will profit from Milan’s exclusion from the competition, they won’t have to go through the qualifying rounds and have a spot in the group stage. FC Torino will now play in the qualifying rounds.
