- Arsenal going for Zagadou
French magazine France Football reports that Arsenal is looking into purchasing Dan-Axel Zagadou’s contract this summer. It is going to be hard for Arsenal to make an offer for Zags that BVB doesn't like since we have him for 3 more years. While he hasn't been a brick wall on defense, Zagadou is only 20 years old and shows tons of promise. With Mats Hummels to learn from, he will likely improve even more this year. However, if we don’t sell Toprak we will need to sell another CB so that’s really the only way I see Zagadou leaving the team.
- Copa America group stage wraps up
The 2019 Copa America may not be the biggest tourney this month, but is sure is offering some good football. Yesterday was the last day of the group stage and we got a pair of decent games. Columbia tied Japan 1-1 and Uruguay beat Chile 1-0. PSG forward Edison Cavani scored a great header to guarantee Uruguay finishing ahead of Chile in their group. Onto the quarter finals this Thursday.

- Women’s World Cup Update
Yesterdays Women’s World Cup knockouts provided a interesting show. The US were clear favorites over Spain, but they kept it close until a soft pen towards the end of the game. With the US being favorites it doesn't look good to squeak by. Also their manager does notbelieve in making subs apparently. The US will now face France in the quarter finals. Today wraps up the round of 16. The games are Italy-China and Netherlands-Japan.
