Favre joined BVB last summer after a disastrous season that saw two mostly incompetent managers take the helm at BVB. What Dortmund needed was the stability they had under Tuchel and Klopp. Favre came from Nice where he revived the team and earned them a Champions league place. Before reviving Nice he had revived Borussia Monchengladbach. While he was cast out from BMG for losing his first 5 games(a move that I’m sure BMG consider a dire mistake) he has been great in his return to the Bundesliga. He took Dortmund from a team that got 4th place by pure luck and made them a title contender. As fans we should be glad to have him.
