  • BVB have a buy-back for Isak

Alexander Isak has left Borussia Dortmund and signed with Real Sociedad but the black and yellows have secured a buy-back clause. According to AS Dortmund will have the option to buy the Swedish striker back for 30€ million. Michael Zorc already announced that they will keep an eye on his development and they will probably not hesitate to get him back if he develops into a starting caliber striker.

Dortmund have signed 16-year-old striker Bradley Fink from FC Luzern. The talented centre forward will play for BVB’s U17 team next season and replace Youssoufa Moukoko who will move to the U19 team.

  • BVB pre-season starts July 3rd

Borussia Dortmund will start their preparations for the new season on July 3rd with the first training session. Some players that were on international duty will get an additional week to recover. The three players that will play at international tournaments, Mahmoud Dahoud and Jacob Bruun Larsen at the U21 European championship and Achraf Hakimi at the Africa Cup of Nations, will be out for a bit longer depending on when they exit the tournament with their national teams.

  • FIFA Women’s World Cup

The WWC continues today with Australia vs Brazil and South Africa vs China.

Rumors suggest BVB are still looking for an experienced centerback to reinforce the defense and a Bild report suggest Laurent Koscielny from Arsenal is a “serious option” for BVB. The 33-year-old would likely be not very expensive but his experience could certainly help a backline that crumbled under pressure too many times last season.

In addition the report claims Ilkay Gündogan would like to stay in England for now and Maximilian Philipp is allowed to leave the club with VfL Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig being interested.
